So as some of you may remember from my first post, i had an audition for the Robin Hood and his Merry Men show out at MNRF... Well about a week or so ago, due to Robin getting the run around... I finally heard back....
I GOT THE PART!!!!
I Can't even begin to explain how utterly excited I am for this! I've wanted to work street since was out there in 05' with Psycho (freind a don't really talk to anymore due to... issues), i get to do 4 shows, continue doing parade and possibly work front gate...
My MNRF history: 06' CKC Minion, a classic first job out there for many people (some get lucky and can get around it) i kinda sorta HATED it
07'-10': Felix Needleworthy Costume Wench, i got this job through a HUGE email hunt online, had an interview with the manager at Caribou and apparently impressed Stelley cause hey i got it :) it was 4 years of fun and gaining a fest family, plus adding to my costume
11': The original plan was to work for Raven at Camelot fans, when i had heard about the audition for Robin Hood, i decided what the hell, i can at least try, i have a bunch of theater training under my belt, mind you ZERO combat, but the said they can work with me on it if i get the part, i went in with Gareth for the audition thought i did pretty good, seeing the other girls that had showed up i didn't quite get my hopes up... after 3 weeks of no repsonse i told Raven i was hers for the season
Last week i woke up and went upstairs to do comp type things cause my laptop was the explody (yay for fixed) i had one message from a friend of mine regarding i can't even remember what, i trolled some people's photos and saw i ahd a second message... from Robin, now with my thinking it was a "sorry this took so long thanks for coming out blah blah blah...
It wasn't
It was an apology for taking so long yes (due to previously mentioned run around) but also saying we'd still love to have you on cast if your interested
HELL YES!!!
Mind you wasn't my exact answer I was a little bit... lets say politer on my yes, so after a long email chain with him and the rest of the cast (the sheriff, little john, marion, friar tuck and much) a second formality audition (wouldn't even call it that) with MRF the next stop for me and Much is Academy (street training and such) then festival itself in August...
Rehearsals for our cast are gonna start in the near future and i am EXTATIC!!
